• Practice & Parental Support
  

• Sufficient practice time on a daily basis is STRONGLY recommended to guarantee you, or your child, will experience consistent progress at the piano. It takes committed practice on a daily basis during the week to put skills covered at the lesson into motion.

• Parental Support (however not requited) is an extremely important factor in musical training. Children whose parents take an active and honest interest in their child's progress tend to be more enthusiastic and productive. I strongly urge a parent to attend the weekly lesson(s)--this way, the parent is better equipped to assist his/her child with home practice sessions. 
  

• Music Books & Related Materials

• When the need arises, the studio shall determine which music books and supplies should be purchased.
• If any music needs to be ordered at the studio's expense, the studio needs to be reimbursed upon arrival of the music in order to prevent late charges.
• Please have the following ready for all the lessons:
• Music Books that are being used currently
• a Notebook
  
• some Blank Staff Paper (see Web Resources to find out how to print them for free)
  

• Summer Months

• Piano lessons continue as usual during the summer months. Consistent lessons provides the best progress for you, or your child.

• If you and/or your family want to take a summer break, please let me know well in advance so that I may adjust my teaching schedule. 

• Holidays

• The following holidays are observed, and there are no lessons on those days.
• Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
• The New Years Eve & New Years Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• If your lessons fall on those days, rescheduling will be offered. 
  

Privacy Policy

All information provided by the students, or students' parents/legal guardian will be kept STRICTLY private within the studio.  At Macheel-Arts Piano Studio, we take your sensitive/private information seriously!
